Lugdunum Roman museum and theaters

Lugdunum Musée et théâtres romains is an archaeological museum located in Lyon. It comprises a covered museum area and the Roman theaters on the Fourvière hill. It regularly hosts temporary exhibitions.

RAMO's OPUS 20W and 30W focusable spotlights provide the right lighting for temporary exhibitions of all sizes, from the largest to the smallest.
As the relatively light infrastructure does not always allow for ideal lighting angles, the OPUS spotlight shutters play an essential role in limiting visitor glare, while guaranteeing precise enhancement of the works.

Places

Inspired by the techniques used at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, architect Bernard Zerhrfuss designed a 320-meter-long, wide, continuous spiral ramp in raw concrete around powerful arched and buttressed pillars, serving the various floors. Each plateau is dedicated to specialized areas. Unlike the infrastructure of traditional museums, the principle of rooms no longer exists. Only low partitions delimit the various spaces.
